The best team in the regular season last year, but knocked out in the first round by the Legends.
They have something to prove this year, and they have the team that can do it.
There might be some debate over who has the best group of forwards in the CDHL. Sharks, Oilers, Roadrunners, or Knights. This reporter gives that title to the Knights.
It’s true he doesn’t have the wow factor of Crosby and Malkin, but look at the age difference between the star players on that team and this one. Steven Stamkos is only 23, Voracek only 24. This group of forwards is going to be better this year than it was last year.
The Knights probably have the most depth in the CDHL as well. He might have nine or ten forwards capable of a point a game, and Stamkos might average almost two points a game this year.
Add to that offense what may be the second best group of defensemen in the league, and really, how do you stop him.
Breakout Player: David Perron
Top Rookie: Sven Baertschi
Season Prediction: 21 – 12 – 4 for 46 points, 2nd place Premier Division. 2nd overall.

Nailed it! The points and placing that is, just a smidge off with the win-loss record but the math is the same. Good thing Stamkos was out all year, or 30 wins might have happened...
